Melee

 

The SEA Championship Final will be run with Melee. Please do the following:

  • If you do not have a Wizards Account, please create one here
  • If you do not have a Melee account, please create one here using the same email as your Wizards Account and SEA Championships website account
  • If you have a Melee account, please ensure the email is the same as your Wizards Account and SEA Championships website account

 

Data Required by Wizards to Award Prize Money

 

Please enter the following data into your Melee account settings/profile:

  • Birthdate (Account)
  • Country/Region (Account)
  • Wizards Account Email (Account)
  • Wizards Account Display Name (Profile)
    • Your Wizards Account Display Name can be found in your Wizards Account profile. The format is <name>#<5 digits>
    • Please enter this Display Name in the 'Wizards Display Name/Arena Id' field in your Melee profile

After registering on this website, from around 1 week before the event, you will receive an email with a link to confirm your registration on Melee. Registration on Melee can only be confirmed if all of the above data is entered into your Melee account.

 

 

Online Decklist Submission

 

After confirming your registration on Melee, you can upload and submit your decklist in Melee:

  • Submitted decklists may be edited up to the decklist submission deadline
  • The deadline for decklist submission will be Friday, 31 May 2024 at 9am local time (GMT+8), after which submission and editing will no longer be possible
  • All decklists have to submitted online, no physical decklists will be accepted
  • Players who fail to submit their decklists before the deadline will be subjected to Tardiness penalties
  • Winners of LCQs will be given one hour to register and submit their decklist after the Qualifier has ended

 

Open Decklists

 

The SEA Championship Final will be run with open decklists:

  • At the beginning of every round, 2 minutes will be allocated for players to view their opponent's decklist. Taking of notes is not allowed during this time
  • Players may refer to their opponent's decklist during sideboarding
  • Players may not refer to their opponent's decklist during game play
  • Decklist information and data, including metagame breakdown, will not be made public until Round 1 on Saturday
  • Players are highly encouraged to have a reliable internet connection to facilitate this
