Your journey to the Magic:The Gathering Pro Tour and World Championship begins here! If you are a player in South East Asia (SEA), Magic: The Gathering South East Asia Championships is your gateway to Magic’s premier play system!

Qualifying events are open to all players, regardless of your level of competitive Magic experience. Take your pick from numerous WPN Regional Championship Qualifiers, happening across major cities in each country, or travel to a neighboring country for a large-scale Open event.

Prove yourself by winning matches of Magic, and you might just be the next South East Asia Champion with an invitation directly to the World Championship and kickstart (or further) your Magic Pro journey!

WPN Regional Championship Qualifier

WPN Stores may run single to multiple Qualifiers per Round. Each event awards different number of invitations to the Round’s SEA Championship Final. Check with your favourite store for more details!

For 2026-27 Round 1, each player who participates in a WPN Regional Championship Qualifier will receive an Ancient Stirrings promo card (while supplies last).

For 2026-27 Round 1, top finishers of each WPN Regional Championship Qualifier will receive a Sowing Mycospawn promo card, and each player who earns an invitation to the SEA Championship Final from a WPN Regional Championship Qualifier will receive a foil Sowing Mycospawn promo card!

For 2026-27 Round 2, each player who participates in a WPN Regional Championship Qualifier will receive a Sunpearl Kirin promo card (while supplies last).

For 2026-27 Round 2, top finishers of each WPN Regional Championship Qualifier will receive a Pinnacle Starcage promo card, and each player who earns an invitation to the SEA Championship Final from a WPN Regional Championship Qualifier will receive a foil Pinnacle Starcage promo card!

Open Events

Open events are large-scale qualifier events. Open events happens on the Sunday of a SEA Championship Weekend.

The top 32 players of the Open will be awarded invitations to the Round’s SEA Championship Final.

For 2026-27 Round 2, each player who participates in the Open event will receive a foil Sunpearl Kirin promo card (while supplies last)!

For 2026-27 Round 2, top finishers of the Open event will receive a Pinnacle Starcage promo card and each player who earns an invitation to the SEA Championship Final from the Open event will receive a foil Pinnacle Starcage promo card!

South East Asia Championship Final

The SEA Championship Final is an invitation-only event. There will be Last Chance Qualifiers on the Friday before the event with the final chances to earn those coveted invites.

The winner of the SEA Championship Final will be crowned South East Asia Champion and will be awarded an invitation directly to the World Championship!

The top 6 players of the SEA Championship Final will be awarded invitations to the Pro Tour!

For 2026-27 Round 1, each player who participates in the SEA Championship Final will receive a Kozilek's Command promo card and top finishers of the SEA Championship Final will receive a foil Kozilek's Command promo card!

For 2026-27 Round 2, the SEA Championship Final participation and top finishers promo will be revealed by Wizards at a later date.
